Amid the strong winds, heavy rains and flooding caused by Typhoon Ulysses, Paulo Avelino shared his advice for pet parents who are affected by the powerful typhoon.
On social media, he asked that pet parents who are unable to evacuate with their pets should leave them unrestrained so that they could still try to survive on their own.
“Yung mga alaga niyong hayop kung iiwan niyo lang din pakawalan niyo nalang para makagawa rin sila ng paraang mabuhay,” the actor said in a tweet.
On social media, photos of residents, alongside their pets, waiting on their roofs for rescuers surfaced.
As of writing, Typhoon Ulysses is now over the West Philippine Sea east of Zambales.
