Kapamilya star Angel Locsin took to social media to pen an open letter to the government regarding their approach to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“To whom it may concern, make sure you have plans for the many workers & business owners who lost their income,” she started.
The actress pointed out all the other issues the government has chosen to focus their attention on rather than dealing with the pandemic properly.
At the end of her letter, she signed off as a “taxpayer.”
Angel posted her open letter to the government on her Instagram stories on July 1.
At the start of the pandemic, Angel helped provide isolation tents for overflowing hospitals.
Along with It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis, they have been raising funds through their Shop and Share initiative to perform COVID-19 mass rapid testing in vulnerable sectors of the country.
