Newly named United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Philippines Youth Advocate Darren Espanto took to social media to teach kids how to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Darren’s tips include practicing physical distancing, avoiding kissing and hugging, proper washing of hands, and staying in communication with loved ones.
The celebrity singer became UNDP’s Youth Advocate last April 16. In an Instagram post, he shared how it is an honor to be of service as an advocate.
His caption read: “In this time of uncertainty and difficulty, it is our obligation to to look after each one and to make sure that we are doing our part to be of help. In this connection, I would like to inform everyone that I am now officially the newest Youth Advocate of the UNDP. It is truly an honor to be a part of this and I hope to be of service through this endeavor.”
