Last Monday, January 6, our very own Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray celebrated her 26th birthday. Among the brightest stars who greeted her is her Miss Universe successor Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa.
Catriona crowned the Miss Universe 2019 last December 2019. Zozibini wowed the crowd with not just her beauty but her intelligence as well.
Zozibini took to Instagram to greet her predecessor a happy birthday. Her caption read: “My dearest @catriona_gray I wish I had more time to get to know you. In the few times that we set and had conversations I felt your kindness and took in your wisdom. Happy belated birthday Queen! May God continue to bless your path.”
Catriona had an advance celebration of her birthday last Sunday on ASAP Natin ‘To. She performed her song, We’re In This Together, along with the kids of the charity she has been working with since 2016, Young Focus.
“Parang ito ang pinaka-memorable birthday ko kasi kasama kayong lahat, kasama ko ang Young Focus family ko, so maraming, maraming salamat,” she said after her performance.
She said supporting a charity has changed her life. Catriona revealed her birthday wish was for others to do the same.
