Maja Salvador’s showbiz career began with a dream to help her family live a better life. The actress admitted she had an early start with working hard to lift her family from poverty.

Maja began working with her home network ABS-CBN back in 2003. Since then, she has already fulfilled her dream of supporting her family.

She shared that her family has always wanted their own home after years of not having a permanent house for themselves.

Walang permanent, wala kaming sariling bahay,” she recounted.

Maja sacrificed the opportunity to go to college to immediately support her family. Despite this, she said she is happy that with her career now, she was able to aid her younger siblings’ schooling.
