Kris Aquino’s social media post on her health and relationship status was showered with messages of love and support from her friends in the showbiz industry.
The host-actress took to Instagram just last night to clear up speculations on the internet. Prior to her post, eagle-eyed netizens spotted that she already deleted all social media posts with her fiancé, former Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Mel Sarmento.
Kris disclosed that while her health has been deteriorating, she was looking into travelling abroad to treat her condition.
On the Instagram post, she shared screenshots of her now ex-fiancé’s last text messages, confirming that they have already called it quits.
Sarmiento, in the text messages, explained that he will not be able to continue living in a bubble with her. Due to Kris’ autoimmune disease Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, a doctor-cousin of hers stressed the “responsibility” of making sure she does not get sick with the virus.
The 50-year-old then told her followers that this will be the last time they will hear anything about her ex-fiancé from her.
“After that you will never read nor hear anything at all about him from me, because I still want to preserve whatever dignity I have left,” she said.
Under the comments section of her post, celebrities flocked to share their comforting words and even promises that they will pray for her.
