Heart Evangelista couldn’t help but express her frustration over a customer who left a parol maker crying after canceling an order amounting to 50,000.
“Diko mapigilan umiyak,” wrote the parol vendor identified as Maximino Simon or Tatay Lakay in a now-viral Facebook post alongside a photo of him in tears.
On Wednesday, Tatay Lakay also shared a video showing the already finished parols at their shop inside the Central Market in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Heart on Friday took to Twitter to say that she was outraged by what happened to Tatay Lakay and offered to help him.
“Napipikon talaga ako! Hayop mga manloloko na yan. Good luck sa inyo,” Heart cussed at the unnamed customer in another tweet.
To which a netizen commented, “Nagmumura din pala si Heart.”
In response to the comment, Heart shared the things that make her furious.
“Pag napikon — sa mga abusado. Pag galit — sa mga walang hiya, pag may inaapi na tao/ helpless na aso. It all comes flying out of my mouth for 1 minute lang,” she said.
Meanwhile, The STAR reported that the local government of Manila and kind-hearted individuals had already reached out to Tatay Lakay and purchased all of his parols.
