Carol Banawa proved that age is just a number when it comes to pursuing your dreams. On social media, the singer known for the hit songs Iingatan Ka and Bakit Di Totohanin shared that she has finally earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing.
In an Instagram post, she thanked those who supported her, especially her husband for working hard so that she could pursue her studies.
She donned a purple and black graduation gown and cap in her photo.
“Another goal achieved,” she happily shared.
She also thanked her kids who were patient and understanding while she was still studying.
“Bachelor’s degree before 40. You are never too old to reach for your dreams,” wrote Carol, who turned 39 last March.
The singer is a registered nurse in the United States. She earned her associate degree in nursing from the Northern Virginia Community College in Washington, D.C.
She made headlines during the onset of the pandemic when it was reported that she is a frontliner battling the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.
In a past Instagram post confirming that she is a frontliner, Carol showed her “new gear” as they prepared for the surge of COVID-19 patients.
