Julia Montes has confirmed that there are issues within CCM Film Productions, the film company owned by her partner, actor Coco Martin.
CCM Film Productions is collaborating with ABS-CBN Studios and Dreamscape Entertainment on Sigabo, the ongoing primetime series starring Coco and Julia.
In a recent interview, Julia acknowledged that the company has encountered problems that need to be resolved, noting that Coco’s generosity had allegedly been taken advantage of by several people.
According to Montes, she is now helping address the issue as its co-producer and head of finance.
Julia also admitted that the production company had suffered financial losses, describing the experience as a difficult journey for them.
Pero we’re very happy and we’re very blessed pa rin at the end of the day. Kasi ang sabi nga po namin ni Coco, it’s a beautiful disaster. Masakit. It’s a betrayal. But at the end of the day, ang sarap sa pakiramdam na ang dami rin pong tumutulong sa amin, expecially ABS-CBN. We’re really guided sa bagong pinapasok naming negosyo,” she said.
Despite the setbacks, Julia expressed gratitude for the support they have received, particularly from ABS-CBN, as they continue to learn and navigate the film production business.
““Hindi siya madali. Pero may tumutulong para mas maaral pa namin ‘yung industriya. Yes po. Hopefully, tuluy-tuloy pang maging maayos,” she added.
