Actor-singer James Reid has had enough with the comments on his latest TikTok video after it was flooded with old photos of him and his former reel and real partner Nadine Lustre.
In the video posted on TikTok, James can be seen casually jamming to American singer Dijon’s song “Yamaha”.

However, instead of engaging with the content, several users spammed the comment section with throwback photos of him and Nadine, collectively known as the former love team “JaDine.”
Some comments also included swipes and third party accusations about his current relationship with Issa Pressman.
James confirmed his romance with Issa in 2023, years after his 2020 breakup with Nadine, formally closing the chapter on their beloved JaDine pairing.
One user wrote, “Nakakatulog pa kaya GF nito nang maayos pagkakita sa mga comments?”
James swiftly replied, “Yes, she sleeps very well right next to me.”
Another netizen commented, “But real friends don’t do that!” to which James responded, “Who’s real friends?”
The user then hinted, “Yung ‘di po ahas,” seemingly referencing past rumors involving Issa and Nadine.
By Tuesday, Oct. 14, James directly addressed the negative comments, writing: “So many bitter people that can’t stand to see me this happy. I hope all of you here find love like I did that inspires you and gives you a reason to be your best self. Love is the answer.”
He followed the statement with a photo of him and Issa together.
Despite his message, some JaDine fans continued posting photos of the former couple, at times outnumbering James’ own replies.
“Dito kami sa OG,” one user wrote alongside a picture of James and Nadine hugging.
When another commenter suggested that Issa might feel “jealous,” James shut it down, saying, “Not at all. You’re the ones who are jealous—sending those pics, think about it.”
The following day, James appeared to have had enough and turned off the comments on the TikTok post.
On the other hand, James announced his TV comeback just last month where he will team up with box-office star Kathryn Bernardo for the first time. Reid last starred in the 2016 romantic series “Till I Met You,” with Lustre.
