A Pamilya De Guzman series is in the works, y’all!
Ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate and online personality Esnyr has revealed that a series starring members of the well-loved Pamilya De Guzman is already “in the process.”
The “big reveal” came during “The Big ColLove fan concert,” where Esnyr and fellow housemates from the latest PBB season reunited to perform for fans at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, August 10.
During a segment where duos were called on stage, hosts Enchong Dee and Bianca Gonzalez relayed a question from fans asking if Esnyr would consider writing or producing a sitcom for their tight-knit group, fondly known as “Pamilya De Guzman,” which was formed inside the PBB house.
The group, composed of Esnyr, Will Ashley, Shuvee Etrata, Mika Salamanca and Klarisse de Guzman, easily earned their name from Klarisse, who was dubbed as the “mowm” of the group.
When asked, “If ever given a chance, would you consider writing or producing a Pamilya De Guzman sitcom?”
Esnyr playfully responded with an “If you know, you know”, drawing cheers from the audience. He then confirmed, “Of course. Actually, we are in the process right now.”
The content creator also hinted that the project might feature not only the Pamilya De Guzman members but other housemates from their season as well.
“Syempre, hindi lang po siya [mag-eend] kumbaga sa PDG, pwede naman nating ipasok lahat ng housemates! So, abang-abang lang kayo,” he said.
Esnyr has previously created and starred in popular YouTube series and skits, one of which featured PBB Celebrity Collab Edition Big Winner Brent Manalo, who gained popularity as his on-screen partner.
