Actress Sunshine Cruz has broken her silence to address persistent rumors surrounding her relationship with business tycoon Atong Ang.
In a Facebook post on Monday, June 30, Sunshine shared a compilation of screenshots featuring what she described as “fake stories” about her and Atong.
The circulating rumors falsely claim that Sunshine was physically abused by Atong, leading to their alleged breakup, and that she is currently pregnant with his child.
Her post’s caption read, “Sharing misinformation is not advisable especially if the news comes from a questionable site. Be vigilant family and friends.”
The post began with a guide on how to identify fake news and concluded with a quote that read, “Don’t believe everything you read on the Internet just because there’s a picture with a quote next to it.”
Sunshine and Atong previously confirmed their relationship last year after being seen getting cozy together in several viral photos and videos.
