Sam Milby clarified that Moira Dela Torre was not the reason for his breakup with ex-fiancé Catriona Gray. He also revealed that he is no longer friends with the singer.
In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Sam emphasized that the rumors about a third party causing his breakup with the beauty queen are completely false.
“There was never a third party as amin ni Cat. That needs to be cleared. There is no truth to it at all,” said Sam.
The actor-singer said that he and Moira were once very close, especially early in her career, but they are no longer friends.
“Sobrang close kami before, and I guess people wanted to connect our closeness to may nangyari sa amin. We are not friends anymore.
Sam declined to elaborate the reason behind the friendship breakup, saying “It’s an issue that’s really sensitive.”
Moira recently made buzz when eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the singer has received an unfollow spree from fellow OPM artists such as by Sam Milby, Yeng Constantino, Erik Santos, TJ Monterde, among others.
Sam also warned people to be cautious of online information, urging them not to believe anything without evidence, as the rumors are completely untrue.
“It makes me sad, may babala ako sa mga tao. Please mag-ingat kayo sa mga nakikita nyo sa online. If there’s no evidence, ‘wag niyong paniwalaan ‘yung nakikita nyo because in this incident, there’s absolutely no truth to it at all,” added Sam.
Sam recently confirmed his split with Catriona. The two were together for almost three years before calling it quits in 2024.
