Aiah, a member of the P-pop girl group BINI, marked her 24th birthday in an unexpected way—by taking a last-minute solo trip to Singapore.
The singer shared snippets of her quick getaway on Instagram Stories, posting a series of photos and videos that documented her experience.
“I wanted to spend my birthday with family and friends, but this year, I decided at the last minute to book a flight and travel outside the Philippines to celebrate my birthday alone,” she wrote in the caption of a rainy photo featuring the iconic Marina Bay Sands Hotel and Sky Park.
“I have never felt this much peace and freedom, especially on my birthday.”
In another Instagram story, Aiah gave more details about her impromptu adventure.
“Spent my birthday in SG for a day bringing nothing but my passport, power bank, condo keys, mini lip tint, card, and my 1K cash,” she wrote, highlighting how unplanned her trip was.
“Bahala na basta makaalis hahaha. Miss ma’am grabbed what she saw within her reach and hurried to the airport haha,” she added, giving fans a glimpse into her lighthearted and carefree birthday celebration.
Aiah also shared a video of herself happily running through the rain alone, with Singapore’s cityscape in the background, expressing her joy and sense of adventure.
