Is this Jane de Leon’s response to ‘Incognito”s green screen allegations?

Actress Jane De Leon seemingly addressed allegations about using a green screen effect to the backdrop of her scene in one of the episodes of the Kapamilya action series “Incognito“.

The series, which premiered on Netflix and iWantTFC on January 17 and 18, has sparked mixed reactions online, with both praise and criticism directed at its production.

One particular scene featuring Jane’s guest appearance as Sylvia “Heart” Escalera, where she is shown speaking on the phone with another character, drew attention from netizens.

While many commended her strong performance as one of the show’s antagonists, others pointed out the quality of the scene’s backdrop, claiming it appeared to be rendered using a green screen.

On Tuesday afternoon, the former Darna star recently posted photos and videos showing the efforts done by her and the filming crew in bringing the said scene to life.

In her caption, she praised the breathtaking location, effectively debunking claims that the backdrop of Palawan’s iconic tourist spot was digitally manipulated.

Prior to this, Jane also shared a clip of her last scene from the show and clarified that she will only be appearing as a guest in the program.

“Maraming salamat INCOGNITO for having me. Thank you Star Creatives ✨💕 at maraming salamat Kapamilya sa panonood at sa inyong suporta kay Sylvia Escalera aka Heart ❤️,” De Leon wrote in her caption.

“Pasensya na sa mga na-disappoint, guest lang talaga ang ako sa serye. Pero salamat sa pagtangkilik ng programa. Keep watching #incognito for more intense action scenes… 🥰”, she added in the comments.

Incognito follows private military contractor intrigue, high-stakes action across Palawan and Italy, and a star-studded cast led by Richard Gutierrez, Daniel Padilla, and Ian Veneracion, as seven individuals facing personal struggles who unite for special missions.

Since its release to streaming platforms and free TV, the series has dominated Netflix Philippines, topping its most-watched list and joining X’s trending online with its past episodes.
