Longtime couple Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto have broken up.
The Kapuso actress took to Instagram on January 2 to announce that she and Jak have put an end to their seven-year relationship.
“‘Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened,” Barbie started her post with a quote from Dr. Seuss.
The “Pulang Araw” star went on to pen a farewell message for Jak, expressing her gratitude for the moments and the years they shared together.

“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love.
“Your love was exceptional. But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together.

“Thank you for loving me the way you did. I am excited for what’s to come for the both of us. You take care of yourself. May you find the love you deserve.

Barbie and Jak first worked together in the TV romantic comedy series “Meant To Be” in 2017. They were officially paired in the 2019 series “Kara Mia” that launched their tandem “JakBie.”
