Andi Eigenmann reacts to video of woman ‘getting cozy’ with her fiancé Philmar Alipayo

-

Andi Eigenmann criticized a TikTok video showing her partner, Philmar Alipayo, allegedly being overly “friendly” with another woman.

The video, posted by user Crissa Liaging, showed Philmar leaning his head towards Crissa while looking at her face. Additionally, the video captured Philmar playfully kicking Crissa’s leg while holding her waist.

Crissa’s post included the caption, “For how many weeks staying here in Siargao finally [I] saw you!!!”

This quickly caught Andi’s attention, prompting a strong reaction from the actress.

In her Instagram story on Monday, Andi accused the video of being intentionally edited to garner online attention.

“He can go out with his friends, go drinking every once in a while, and chat with whoever he wants. No harm in that,” Andi stated.

“What’s shameful is purposely posting and editing a video to cause a stir, disturbing the peace of people and dragging them into their negativity; just for some social media attention.”

Following this, Andi shared another Instagram story showing her and Philmar at the Happy Islanders Surf Club in Siargao, where they currently live.

According to a report by Pilipino Star Ngayon, Liaging clarified in a separate video that there was “no flirtation” between her and Philmar in the video, emphasizing that other people were also present during the time, although they were not captured on camera.

Despite this, she admitted that sharing the video was a mistake that led to misinterpretation by fans on the internet.

Andi and Philmar have been engaged since December 2020. They share two children together.

The couple had previously announced that they postponed their wedding to 2024 after the death of Andi’s mother, late veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, who passed away from a heart attack.
