The mother of celebrities Patrick Garcia and Cheska Garcia Kramer, Celeste “Bing” Velasco, has passed away, at the age of 70.
Her death was confirmed by her son-in-law Doug Kramer, husband of her daughter, Cheska, through a heartfelt social media post on Monday, April 22.
Doug expressed his condolences and paid tribute to his late mother-in-law, whom he referred to as “momsy”.
“When you look at @chekakramer, she’s a complete reflection of her mom. Our momsy.❤️
Beautiful inside and out!” Doug began his message.
“I’m so thankful she guided and molded Cheska the way she is, because our kids take a lot from their mom,” he thanked his late mother-in-law.
“The best mom in law anyone could have! The OG, the coolest Grandma, the funniest, and one who never runs out of chika because she knows all the issues on fb.😂 We love you so much momsy! 💔” the celebrity dad wrote.
Doug requested the public to allow them time to mourn their loss, mentioning that Cheska would be making her statement as soon as possible.
“[Please] give the family time to grieve, Chesca will give her message soonest when she can gather her strength,” the athlete noted.
“We’re all so heartbroken, the kids, family and especially Chesca and her siblings,” he added.
According to PEP.ph’s report, the cremated remains of Bing will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Chapels on Araneta Avenue, Quezon City, starting on Tuesday, April 23. A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, April 26.
