Sarah Lahbati couldn’t care less about speculations surrounding the man spotted with her in Hong Kong, as well as new romance rumors hounding her estranged husbandRichard Gutierrez.
The actress was interviewed by the entertainment press during the media conference of her upcoming TV5 series “Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa”.
The celebrity mom was asked about her reaction to alleged photos of estranged husband Richard Gutierrez and fellow actress Barbie Imperial that ignited rumors about a romantic relationship between them.
“No reaction at all,” Lahbati told the press.
In the same interview, Sarah also addressed speculations about the mystery man that she was seen with during her visit to Hong Kong weeks after announcing her split from Richard.
“I went to Hong Kong to experience the art. It’s always been a dream of mine to travel around and I was happy that I was able to go,” Lahbati explained.
She continued, “That photo circulating around is my friend. I visited in Hong Kong and met up with different friends.”
Sarah emphasized that the speculations didn’t bother her, stating, “Is it unfair? Is it bothering me now? It takes a lot more for something to bother me now.”
The actress went on to assert her right to have male friends, as she is currently single.
“But I think as, as a woman, we’re all allowed to have guy friends but again, it’s okay to speculate because again, I’m single and it is part of this whole new thing,” she stressed.
Sarah confirmed her rumored split from Richard last March. The ex-couple has been married since 2020 and shares two sons, Zion and Kai.
