Actor-politician Alfred Vargas and his wife Yasmine Espiritu rang in 2024 with the arrival of their fourth child.
Yasmine gave birth to their baby on December 26, just a day after Christmas. They named their child, Aurora Sofia.
Yasmine proudly announced Baby Aurora’s arrival on her Instagram account which showed a photo of her in a hospital bed cradling their newborn.
Her caption read, “Aurora Sofia E. Vargas #wearefinallyhome #dec26”.
According to previous reports, Yasmine spent nearly a month in the hospital due to the delicate nature of her pregnancy, prompting Alfred to care for and watch over his wife almost every day at the hospital.
Aside from Baby Aurora, Alfred and Yasmine have three other children: Alexandra Milan, Aryana Cassandra, and Alfredo Cristiano.
Meanwhile, Alfred shared his message for the entry of 2024, reflecting on significant events in his life over the past year which he described a “year of love”.
“My 2023 was a year of LOVE: love for service, love for God and country, love for the arts, love for nature, love for my family,” read Vargas’ sentimental post.
He continued, “It was a year of faith, of that enduring loyalty to the people I have committed my life to: my wife and four kids, my fellow Novaleños and Filipinos, those who watch me on tv and on the big screen, those who share the same aspirations with me for a better tomorrow for our children.”
“In many ways, the year that passed had been marked with among the most difficult challenges I’ve faced as a husband, father and servant. But love and faith conquered, closing the year to reveal a 2024 already full of beauty and promise,” his message concluded.
