Xyriel Manabat shared laughs with netizens as she flexed her mother using a trending scene from Senior High as a marketing strategy for her salted egg business.
A scene from ABS-CBN series Senior High recently trended on social media for the performance of Xyriel and her co-star Zaijan Jaranilla as their characters, Tim and Roxy, broke up because of a third party.
In the episode, Tim confessed to Roxy that he shared an intimate moment with his teammate, Poch (Miggy Jimenez), causing their breakup.
After their emotional scene, a heartbroken Roxy sought comfort from Sky (Andrea Brillantes) to whom she described Tim’s cheating as: “pinagpalit sa itlog na maalat”.
Days after the episode, Xyriel shared a screenshot of her mother’s Facebook post where she promoted her salted egg business using the actress’ line.
“GUYS Asa AKIN ANG ITLOG NA MAALAT. ORDER NA ORGANIC SALTED EGG,” her mother’s caption read, along with photos of Poch and a crying Roxy.
“[‘YAN] ANG MARKETING! LOVE U MA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH,” Xyriel reacted in her Instagram story.
