Richard Gutierrez has a heartfelt message to his mom Anabelle Rama who recently celebrated her 71st birthday.
The actor, in his latest Instagram post, honored his mom who also co-manages his career with Star Magic, for her unconditional love, constant support, and sacrifices for their family.
A touching part of the Kapamilya action star’s message also read: “You taught us the value of family, loyalty and hard work, thank you for never giving up on us when times are hard, never giving up on your marriage when it was tested and always choosing to fight for what is right for the family”.
Richard’s message came amid speculations that he and wife Sarah Lahbati’s marriage is going through a rough patch.
The couple recently became the subject of intrigue as netizens speculated if all is truly well with the couple.
Rumors of marital trouble were sparked as eagle-eyed fans took notice of the two’s “absence” on each other’s social media accounts recently.
For Halloween, Sarah and Richard posted separate snaps of them spending the holiday with their sons Zion and Kai.
Netizens in the comments section can’t help but question why the two were supposedly not together in recent occasions.
Fans also pointed out that Richard attended the star-studded events Opulence Ball and ABS-CBN Ball without his wife.
Others, meanwhile, asked to give the couple privacy, supposed that they are just taking some time off away from each other and wished the couple well.
Sarah and Richard were last seen together onscreen when the actress appeared in the finale episode of the latter’s The Iron Heart series only last month.
In a Philippine Star interview with the actor last Oct. 26, there wasn’t any indication of marital trouble as the actor gamely answered questions about Sarah’s cameo appearance in his show.
“Sana, sana! I’m actually praying for it,” he said when asked about any possibility of them starring together in an action project.
The two, who tied the knot at an intimate wedding ceremony in 2020, have been together for more than 10 years.
