This is not a drill! One Piece live action star Mackenyu Arata is coming to the Philippines in November.
A report by Philippine Star on Tuesday said the Japanese actor is set to the headline the Manila Pop Culture Convention 2023 which will run from November 17 to November 19.
“Hi Mackenyu here. To all my Filipino fans out there, I’ll be apperaing at the ManiPopCon in Manila from November 17th to 19th,” Mackenyu said in a video greeting.
“See you guys there,” he added.
The event will take place at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
Mackenyu is best known for his role as Roronoa Zoro in the Netflix series One Piece live action.
He also starred in Rurouni Kenshin, Knights of the Zodiac, and Over Drive.
