Actress KC Concepcion addressed issues concerning her recent social media activity involving her stepfather Atty. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan and half-sister Frankie Pangilinan.

In an exclusive interview with veteran columnist Cristy Fermin, KC was asked about the speculation of cutting ties with her relatives on the social media platform.

The actress emphasized that the time will come when people choose to follow or unfollow a person on social media.

“Pero kasi, I think ‘yung sa akin is more of like I said, may mga complicated po talaga pagdating sa blended family. And hindi po laging kailangan, perfect,” she said.

KC emphasized that her decision came from wanting peace of mind, “I just want peace of mind, I want to be happy, I want my family to be happy.

She also figured that she had done her duties as a good daughter and sister.

“Kung meron man akong pagkukulang or pagkakamali kahit saan, sa tingin ko, mabibilang sa isang kamay lang ‘yun. Lahat ng ginusto ng family ko na gawin ko, ginawa ko,” she said.

“Nagtapos ako ng kolehiyo, nagtrabaho ako, inalagaan ko po ‘yung career, minamahal ko po ‘yung mga tao, talaga pong ginagawa ko ang lahat para maging mabuting anak, mabuting ate,” she added, noting that she maintains a “very close” relationship with her half-sisters and half-brothers.

“I just think na may mga moment na wala na akong control and mas gugustuhin ko pong i-keep ang aking peace of mind,” KC reasoned out.

Para mas kaya kong mahalin ‘yung mga tao in the way na dapat,” she explained.

Right now, KC shared that she is currently focusing on her parents’, Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, reunion concert, “Dear Heart”.

When asked about the megastar, KC turned emotional as she expressed her love for her mom.

KC is currently promoting her film Asian Persuasion while also announcing her comeback in the showbiz industry after going on a hiatus to manage her jewelry business.
