Yassi Pressman made a buzz on social media after a video of her getting a kiss on the cheek from Camarines Sur Gov. Luigi Villafuerte went viral.
Yassi attended the 74th Foundation Event of Bombon, Camarines Sur for a hosting stint last Sunday, August 13.
In a video uploaded on Facebook, the actress was hosting the event together with the politician where people can be heard pushing for the two to kiss.
To which Gov. Luigi humored the crowd, “Kiss muna?”
Yassi reacted to the request with a laugh, saying there were children among the crowd. After a few more teasing, the host went on to close her eyes and offered her cheek for the governor to kiss.
The local townspeople howled in joy at the interaction. Gov. Luigi urged the audience to give a round of applause to the celebrity.
“Palakpakan po natin Yassi Pressman, ang espesyal na tao sa puso ni Gov. Luigi,” he said.
He then asked the crowd if they were “bagay” and received an echoed response agreeing that the two were a good match.
A Facebook user has also uploaded photos of the scene with a caption referring to Yassi as the apple of the governor’s eye.
“Gov. Luigi Villafuerte together with the apple of his eye Ms. Yassi Pressman @Bombon, Cam.Sur Celebrating 74th Foundation of Bombon ?,” the uploader of the photos wrote.
Yassi has recently ignited rumors of her breakup with Filipino-Canadian businessman Jon Semira with social media posts where she referred to herself as a “free” and “strong independent woman”.
