Erik Santos is mourning the death of his mom Angelita Santos who passed away at 66 years old on Friday, November 25.
“She is finally home with Jesus.I love you so much, Nanay,” Erik wrote as caption alongside a photo of his beloved mother.
Words of condolences coming from netizens and fellow celebrities including Yeng Constantino, Zsa Zsa Padilla, and Mark Bautista flooded the comments section of Erik’s Instagram post.
The singer previously requested prayers for his mom’s full recovery during his
ASAP birthday prod in October.
“I would like to ask for prayers for my mom for her complete healing. ‘Yung kantang ‘Wind Beneath My Wings’ ‘yun po ‘yung kanta ko sa kanya,” said Erik without going into details about his mom’s health condition.
He added, “It’s been so challenging for the family for the past months and gusto kong maging masaya siya so ‘pag napanood niya ’to alam kong magiging masaya siya dahil ‘yung kantang ‘to and on my very special day I would love to honor her and to say that I love you so much, Mommy.”
