KathNiel fans, do not fret! Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are still very much together!
Rumors about Kathryn and Daniel calling it quits surfaced this week, after some netizens speculated that the two seemed “awkward” in circulating clips from the finale media conference of their series 2 Good 2 be True last Monday.
Other videos of the couple from the same event, however, showed the two being affectionate to each other.
Daniel’s response to their thoughts about “loyalty” in the said media conference also raised concern among fans.
“Yung aso ko, si Summer. Yun pinaka-loyal,” said the actor.
He continued, “Kahit ano mang pinagdadaanan ko ngayon, kung ano mang sitwasyon o emosyon ko ngayon, kung sino ako ngayon, tatanggapin ako nang buong-buo nun. ‘Yun ang loyalty. Walang judgement kung sino ka.”
Kathryn, on the other hand, answered that loyalty is about contentment: “Loyalty for me is being contented. Because if you’re contented, you won’t look for [another] person, right?”
On Thursday, an Instagram user queried Daniel’s mom, Karla Estrada, if such speculations about Kathryn and Daniel are for real.
“WALANG KATOTOHANAN!!!,” replied the actress in capital letters.
ABS-CBN broadcaster MJ Felipe later shared on Friday a photo of him together with the couple in El Nido, Palawan to “shut down all the rumors.”
Kathryn and Piolo Pascual, along with their business partners, graced the grand opening of their boutique resort Isla Amara in Palawan.
