Herlene Budol is ready to take on the international pageant stage after Binibining Pilipinas stint.
The big news was announced by her talent manager Wilbert Tolentino during her homecoming event in Angono, Rizal.
Tolentino added that his talent will still pursue a career in showbiz as she tries her luck in pageantry.
Meanwhile, pageant newbie Budol expressed her gratitude for those who supported and armored her with knowledge before pursuing the crown.
The comedian-turned-pageant queen bagged the first runner-up title and a number of special awards in this year’s Binibining Pilipinas competition.
Budol and her manager’s announcement came as a surprise after she told Miss Universe Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa that the recent pageant would be her last.
Sagot nya: last ko to ate. Aww why naman langga,” MJ wrote on a Twitter post.
