Carla Abellana and husband Tom Rodriguez are reportedly going their separate ways for good.
Showbiz veteran columnist Cristy Fermin alleged in her Youtube vlog Showbiz Now Na that Carla is seeking to annul her marriage with Tom.
“Si Carla Abellana pala nagpapahanda na ng dokumento ng annulment,” Fermin told her co-hists Rommel Chika and Morly.
“At tayo nga ay binigla. Pagka-kasal, tatlong buwan pa lang naghiwalay na. ‘Di ba nakakalula ‘yun ah,” added Fermin.
Rommel Chika also claimed that Tom is currently in the United States.
Carla, meanwhile, put her fully furnished condominium in Pasig City for sale in February and held a groundbreaking ceremony for her future home last March.
After months of deactivating his Instagram account, Tom on Wednesday returned to the platform to share via Instagram stories a photo that showed a silhouette of hands with breaking chains.
Rumors about Carla and Tom’s supposed breakup have been around since January this year, but both have yet to speak up on the issue.
Carla’s father Rey Abellana previously addressed the speculations in an interview with Fermin, clarifying that he himself has no idea of what caused the couple’s alleged split.
The couple tied the knot in October 2021 after seven years of being a couple.
