Viva Artists Agency (VAA) has made it clear that its artists, Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli, are not endorsing any political candidate this 2022 elections.
The talent management agency on Friday released a statement debunking rumors that the celebrity couple have declared support for a certain candidate.
“Contrary to the rumors circulating, our artists, Sarah Geronimo-Guidicelli and Matteo Guidicelli, are not endorsing any political candidate for the upcoming elections,” read VAA’s statement.
VAA earlier clarified that an Instagram story of Sarah Geronimo supposedly endorsing Leni Robredo was not published on any of their social media pages.
“The post was altered and was never published on any official VIVA social media account,” said VAA.
Meanwhile, a TikTok video showing a reporter from Pastor Apollo Quiboloy-owned SMNI network claiming that Sarah is a supporter of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte tandem, also made rounds online.
