Sandara Park amused netizens with her fluency in speaking the Filipino language while abroad.
In a recent Instagram upload, Sandara, or Dara can be seen in a video talking in Tagalog while ordering food at a restaurant in Dubai.
The pure-blooded Korean but Pinay at heart effortlessly asked for the menu and conversed using the Filipino language with the presumed Pinay waiter.
“Isang shrimp and chicken siomai, and then, ano pa ‘yung masarap na ibang menu?,” said Dara in the video.
Dara said she felt at ease using the Filipino language since she’s met a lot of Pinoys in Dubai.
“FYI. I’m in Dubai right now but since there are so many Pinoy here, I keep on speaking Tagalog so naturally so comfortable nag o-order ako ng food in tTagalog and then I realized nasa Dubai pala ako hahaha ang cute!!! Thank you sa mga love n’yo sakin,” wrote Dara as caption in her Instagram post.
Dubbed Pambansang Krung-Krung among Pinoy fans, Dara first grew popularity in the talent show Star Circle Quest before becomina globally known through Kpop girl group 2NE1.
Dara, along with 2NE1 members CL, Minzy, and Bom recently made headlines for their surprise performance in Coachella 2022.
