After being linked in dating rumors, actress Andrea Brillantes and athlete-actor Ricci Rivero are now confirmed to be in a relationship.
Ricci, University of the Philippines’ shooting guard, rose to Twitter’s trending topics on Saturday night after publicly asking Andrea to be his girlfriend following their team’s winning game against Far Eastern University.
After thanking the UP Maroons’ supporters, Ricci asked Andrea who was among the Mall of Asia Arena crowd the question: “Can I ask Blythe to be my girlfriend?”
Videos on social media showed the actress picking the T-shirt with the “Yes” word written on it and gushing afterwards.
In a Twitter post, Ricci wrote, “GOT TWO WINS TODAY! #UPFight || ?TAKEN✅”.
Andrea, meanwhile, posted a photo of herself widely smiling while wearing the “Yes” shirt and holding a bouquet of flowers.
She wrote: “First time kong manood ng UAAP di ko inaasahang mag kaka boyfriend pa ako ??
