Xyriel Manabat was happy to finally tick this item off her wish list.
The former child actress recently took to Instagram to share photos of her getting not one, not two, but four dermal piercings on her chest.
“Achieving my ‘naudlot’ December 2021 bucket list,” wrote Xyriel in the caption.
According to health and wellness website WebMD.com, dermal piercings, also known as single-point piercings, “can go on any part of the body that has thick, flat skin.”
“Unlike other types of body piercings (such as earrings or navel piercings), dermal piercings don’t have an exit point. Instead, the piercer inserts an anchor below the skin, which holds the visible part of the jewelry in place,” it added.
Xyriel, who turned 18 years old last January, surprised netizens in 2020 with her high school graduation photos and other snaps of her looking all grown up.
She was known for her notable roles in teleseryes 100 Days To Heaven, Agua Bendita and Momay, among others.
In an interview in 2020, Xyriel revealed that the reason she was yet to make a TV comeback was due to her studies.
“Sobrang focused po ako sa personal life and sa school ko. So mahirap pong gumanap sa isang role na hindi po ako fully committed. Siyempre baka hindi ko po mabigyan ng justice ‘yung role. So du’n po tayo ‘pag nandun na lahat focus ko and lahat ng determination ko nandu’n na po sa show na ‘yun,” stated Xyriel.
