Elisse Joson and McCoy de Leon have revealed that they are now parents to a baby girl named Felize.
The celebrity couple, also known as McLisse to fans, made the big reveal during their appearance on ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Big Brother (PBB): Kumunity Season 10 on Sunday.
To recall, Elisse, 25, and McCoy, 26, first met inside the PBB house in 2016 and became a reel-to-real love team.
During their guesting, they first shared with “Big Brother” that they’re very happy together now and getting into a jewelry business “para makatulong sa pamilya namin in the future,” McCoy said.
The actor then asked “Kuya” to be the godfather of their daughter, who is named after both parents.
“Kuya, pwede po ba namin kayong gawin ninong as anak namin?” McCoy began.
They said that although they knew it would be impossible for them to see “Kuya” in person, they still decided to get him as godparent because they look up to him.
They also expressed their gratitude to PBB as they recalled how their love story started during the reality show.
Meanwhile, the first-time mom described their daughter as “our lucky charm” and “our greatest blessing”.
The actress also opened up about her feelings as a brand-new parent.
Ngayon ramdam ko na po yung hirap, yung sarap, yung saya ng pagiging ina,” she said.
The couple didn’t say when and where their baby daughter was born but the two first hinted at their reconciliation in August 2020 after breaking up in 2018.
In a previous vlog, they looked back on how their year-long breakup led them to develop feelings of resentment against each other.
“Isang taon din ‘no na nagkahiwalay? Tipong hindi tayo nag-uusap talaga, hindi nagpapansinan,” disclosed Elisse.
They had never revealed the real reason behind their first separation but when they finally got back in each other’s arms, it was different and “lovelier” the second time around.
Parang it was all surface, mababaw na masaya kayo, you go out, date kayo. Pero especially tayo, dumating sa point na ‘yun nga, nag-break, na we hated each other, nagalit tayo sa isa’t-isa,” said Elisse.
“Mas naging iba the second time around kasi nga nagkaroon ng ganun. Ngayon, it feels more real. This is our reality, this is how you work on your relationship, this is how you deal with your partner, with each other.”
They were reunited last July in Manila after having a long-distance relationship with Elisse flying to the US late last year to be with family.
