Darren Espanto has reunited with his family back home in Canada.
The singer happily shared on social media that he was able to catch a flight to Canada just before Metro Manila was put on lockdown.
“Nakalipad pa ako bago mag lockdown! Flew to Canada on Thursday and went straight to camping on Saturday,” he shared.
The 20-year-old shared that the process to enter Canada was quick since he no longer had to quarantine before seeing his family.
During the pandemic, Darren spent a year in Canada before flying back to the Philippines to prepare for his virtual concert.
His comeback concert, Darren: Home Run streamed worldwide on June 19 and June 20.
The young performer had to move the dates of his concert from May to June after he was exposed to an individual who tested positive for COVID-19.
