Zsa Zsa Padilla explains why she’s having a medical checkup in US

Zsa Zsa Padilla denied rumors that she’s ill with COVID-19.

The veteran singer shared that her trip abroad is due to a condition she had to get checked by a specialist.

In an Instagram post, she shared her magnetic resonance imaging or MRI journey and why she had to fly all the way to the United States for a medical checkup.

Last year, she said she began having problems with the nerves on her legs and experienced lower back pain. Her doctor suggested she get an MRI but she backed out due to claustrophobia.

Since hospitals are filled with COVID-19 patients, she shared she didn’t want to risk having her medical tests done in Manila.

“My partner, Conrad, decided to take me to see his brother, Dr. Art Onglao in California and he found a specialist for me. I also needed check up with my Ob-gyn and luckily, my nerve specialist is married to an Ob-gyn! What were the chances,” she wrote.

Since their arrival in California, Zsa Zsa said she has been busy with all her medical tests.

“I just thought of sharing so you wouldn’t get fake news,” she mentioned.

Based on her latest posts, Zsa Zsa has reunited with family members, including her mom, in between medical checkups.

“Reunited with my beautiful Mama! So happy to be with family after 2 years!” she wrote.
