High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale has given birth to a baby girl!
The newbie mom took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce the arrival of her firstborn with music composer husband Christopher French.
Sharing a black-and-white photo of her holding her newborn’s little hands, Ashley revealed her daughter’s name in the caption: “Jupiter Iris French arrived earth side 3.23.21 ✨.”
Ashley and Christopher, who tied the knot in 2014, first revealed in September last year that they were expecting.
Opening up about her relationship with her pregnancy body on her own lifestyle website Freshne, Ashley revealed her struggle to accept her body changes.
“Seeing my body look so different is still a little startling to me. It’s like I don’t fully recognize myself and almost like an out-of-body experience.
“I think it comes down to body acceptance vs body love. I think that you can love your body, no matter what shape or form, but it’s the acceptance part that trips me up a little,” she wrote.
Admitting that change can be hard, Ashley said she has learned to love her body and will “give it time, let it heal, and take really good care of it,” after the birth of her child.
