It has already been a year since Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati pushed through with their wedding against all odds.
The 37-year-old actor took to social media to pen a sincere message for his beautiful wife on their first wedding anniversary.
“May our trust and love keep growing in the passing of each year, through the highs and lows,” he wrote.
He then assured the 27-year-old Filipino-Swiss actress that God’s light on their marriage will guide them through “speed bumps” and setbacks in their road as a married couple.
“So never be afraid my love, for I will always be by your side, holding your hand as we go through our chosen path in life.
“You are the pillar of my life and I wake up every morning trying to become a betterman because of you. I love and I will forever cherish you,” he said.
Meanwhile, Sarah shared a video of her and Richard’s sweet and happy moments in black and white.
“You and me, hand in hand. Through life’s ups and downs. Together. Today, tomorrow and forever. Happy one year, my love,” she wrote as the caption.
The happy couple pushed through with their wedding on March 14 of last year after having to postpone their grand wedding due to COVID-19.
Their wedding turned out to be an intimate ceremony with only their family members in attendance.
Their nuptials took place a day before Metro Manila was placed under “community quarantine” on March 15, 2020.
Richard and Sarah got engaged in 2017, and are parents of two boys — Zion and Kai.
