Fans were happy to see former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach active on Instagram again more than a week after her sister’s controversial online rant against her.
On Monday, the beauty queen shared photos from her stay in a Batangas resort — her first IG post since her sibling Sarah Wurtzbach criticized her and their mother in strongly-worded IG stories that were eventually deleted but not before they went viral.
Sarah later apologized for her outburst and defended her actions as her way of venting out pent-up “anger”.

Meanwhile, Pia kept mum all throughout the issue with her camp only saying that it was “away pamilya, no statement, let us just respect their privacy.”
“Memories from @ybonitafarm,” read Pia’s return caption, suggesting that this was a late post. Nevertheless, netizens were quick to welcome her back on social media.
“Hoping you’re okay na, my Queen. Sending love from one of your biggest fans,” one comment read.
“So finally to hear from you Queen… we missed you,” another wrote.
“So glad to see you posting again… been hoping for this for days, and now you’re back,” said another commenter.
According to multiple reports, the siblings have since privately worked out their differences after the feud grabbed headlines.
Sarah herself responded to a question from The STAR via an IG direct message with the simple confirmation “bati na po kami, thank you” and wouldn’t comment any further.
She has since opened up her IG to dialogue and stories from followers about pain and abuse, and “hopefully build a community that will help each other heal.”
According to sources, Pia is back in the UK and could have reunited by now with family members and boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey who posted a sweet photo of them at the height of the controversy.
Pia first flew to the UK last July as soon as travel restrictions were eased. She is expected to return to Manila late this year to fulfill some work commitments.
