Kapuso star Heart Evangelista said she won’t be entering politics anytime soon.
On Twitter, the actress noticed a tweet from a netizen which said that they are hoping she will not be getting into politics.
“Hoping Heart Evangelista won’t enter politics,” the netizen wrote along with photos of Heart giving away wheelchairs to some of the elderly in Sorsogon.
Quoting the tweet, she said she can already help people without that kind of power.
“Politics is not for me. I can help without that kind of power,” she wrote.
Heart’s followers were quick to agree with her, saying she can do more without being in politics.
The socialite, who is married to Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero, has been making headlines with her charity work. Early June, she took to social media to give away tablets to students who will be having online classes soon.
“For those who don’t have tablets for online school please dm me on ig… I will be giving away as much tablets as i can,” she wrote on Twitter.
True to her word, Heart sold her artwork to purchase 550 tablets.
“My struggles in life are unknown to many but art, fashion and expressing myself has always helped me cope with my not so fairytale life.The time, hardwork and love that I put out in this artwork was well worth it as the proceeds have allowed me to purchase 550 tablets for angels,” she said.
