Heart Evangelista took to social media to greet her stepchildren Chesi and Quino as they turned 13 years old on Monday, September 7.
On Instagram, the Kapuso actress and fashion darling penned a heartwarming message to husband Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero’s twins with ex-wife Christine Flores.
Along with her greeting are throwback photos of her and Chiz with the kids at the beach.
“Happy Birthday, Chesi and Quino! ? I may not have given you the gift of life, but it has been such a wonderful experience taking care of you since you were four,” wrote Heart.
She also gushed as she shared her excitement on Chesi and Quino’s teen journey.
“I really can’t wait for the adventures you’re going to have in your teen years. Although it won’t be easy (trust me, I’ve been there), I’ll be here to hold your hand every step of the way!❣️,” she added.
Heart has been treating the twins as her own since she got married to Chiz in 2015.
In celebration of Mother’s Day last May, Chesi and Quino thanked Heart through a handwritten letter for “always being here for us and being basically our mother figure while in quarantine and we don’t see Daddy and our mom everyday.”
Heart sometimes also includes the two in her vlogs.
