The time has finally come, BLINKs!

Korean girl group BLACKPINK is ready to make a comeback in June, their agency YG Entertainment confirmed.

Korean entertainment news outlet STARNEWS reported that the K-pop quartet is already done recording the new album. A music video shoot will also be done in May.

According to Soompi.com, YG Entertainment confirmed that the girls’ return is scheduled for June.

“BLACKPINK is scheduled to make a June comeback. Once the exact date has been finalized, we will officially share the news with fans first. Thank you.”

The comeback will mark more than year after the girls released the song Kill This Love on April 4, 2019.

Meanwhile, on April 23, American pop star Lady Gaga announced that she is teaming up with the girl group for Sour Candy, a song in her upcoming album titled Chromatica.

News of the girls’ much-awaited comeback sent their Filipino fans in a frenzy, with BLACKPINK-related hashtags dominating the Philippines’ top trending list on Twitter.

#BLACKPINKISCOMING, #BLACKPINKCOMEBACK and #JUNE_IS_FOR_BLACKPINK owned the 2nd, 6th and 7th spot respectively.
