Heart Evangelista has finally delved into creating digital art as non-fungible tokens (NFT). The actress will be releasing her collaborations with other Filipino artists soon.
The Kapuso star described NFT as a “new kind of digital art that is secured by blockchain technology and can take art, videos, and music.”
She shared: “These are really cool because they let a buyer prove that they are the true owner of a piece of art even if the art can be freely viewed by the public online.”
In her social media post, Heart announced that she has collaborated with NFT artist Luis Buenevantura and Manila Philharmonic Orchestra composer Rodel Colmenar on her first-ever NFT artworks.
The 36-year-old will be bringing her artworks to life on November 4.
Heart is known for hand-painting her luxury bags and her knack for everything artsy. Just last year, she donated one of her pieces to raise money for COVID-19 frontliners.
