Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha star Kim Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend said the actor has reached out to apologize to her, saying she feels sorry for “causing damage to many people.”
As reported by Korean news outlets, Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend updated her previous post in an online community where she accused him of forcing her to get an abortion. She wrote that the actor has already asked forgiveness from her.
“I received an apology from him, and it seems like there were some misunderstanding between us,” Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend was quoted as saying in a report by Yonhap.
She also expressed regret for what her controversial post has led to.
“I’m sorry that my writing seems to have caused unintentional damage to many people.
“There was a time when we truly loved each other, and I don’t feel good watching him collapse in a single moment due to my extreme writing,” she said.
Seon Ho’s ex-girlfriend added that she will be taking down her post, to prevent false information and narrative about their relationship getting publicized.
“I don’t want any more information that is different from the truth from spreading or anything about him and me to spread. I feel burdensome because I feel this incident has caused a lot of people trouble.”
Her statement came after the actor belatedly said sorry for hurting her “with my carelessness and inconsiderate actions”.
He, as well, apologized for “disappointing” his fans and “causing trouble” to his co-stars.
Following the controversy, Seon Ho dropped out of variety show 2 Days and 1 Night as well as his two upcoming films.
