Tonight at SM Megamall Cinema 1 is the red-carpet premiere of Isa Pa With Feelings starring Maine Mendoza and Carlo Aquino.
The Kapuso actress is glad for the chance to have worked with ABS-CBN through the film, admitting she once dreamed of working at the network.
Black Sheep, co-producer of her film, is one of the divisions under ABS-CBN’s movie-making outfit Star Cinema.
In 2014, a young Maine Mendoza auditioned to become one of Kuya’s housemates for the reality show Pinoy Big Brother. Unfortunately, she did not make the cut.
“Naisipan ko lang mag audition, may nagsabi sa akin. May nag-invite kung gusto ko bang mag-audition for PBB. Ako naman, even before, honest naman ako na gusto ko talaga makasali sa PBB. So nakita rin na baka ito na rin ‘yung chance, pero hindi pa ‘yon ang tamang panahon,” TV host Boy Abunda quoted Maine in his Pilipino Star Ngayon column.
Even though she was unable to become a housemate, Maine made known that she is happy with the consequences of her failed audition.
“Nagsimula ako no’n alas-sais nang umaga hanggang ala-una ng umaga. Pero umuwi ako ng sad, pero okay lang, masaya yung experience,” she added.
