Actress-vlogger Sachzna Laparan revealed that she previously dated actor McCoy de Leon, raising questions about the timeline of their romance and his relationship with former love team partner Elisse Joson.
In an interview with DJ JhaiHo on Banana Krew, Sachzna recalled how she and McCoy grew close while they were in college, with their respective schools, Mapúa University and Lyceum of the Philippines University, located near each other.
“Naging ex ko. Ex ko siya,” Sachzna admitted, adding that their relationship was brief and on-and-off.
“Actually, siya lang yung ex na binalikan ko talaga,” she shared.
Sachzna said they reconnected after McCoy exited Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7 in 2017, although their renewed connection did not lead to another relationship.
“After ng PBB niya, nanligaw pa ulit siya sa akin,” she recalled, clarifying, “Hindi naman naging kami. Nagkausap lang kami and after noon hindi talaga nag-work out.”
When DJ JhaiHo asked whether her renewed connection with McCoy coincided with his romance with Elisse, Sachzna admitted she did not know.
“Baka hindi naman. Baka naghiwalay naman sila or what. Hindi ko talaga alam,” she said.
Sachzna also revealed that she was hurt when McCoy entered PBB, recalling how she felt he had left her hanging.
“Na-hurt ako nun, sobra. Nag-post pa ako nun,” she said, adding that she even had a confrontation with his mother when they were younger.
McCoy and Elisse, whose romance began during their PBB stint in 2016, welcomed their daughter, Felize, in 2021. The former couple confirmed their separation in a joint statement in July 2025.
While Sachzna’s revelation has sparked curiosity about the timeline of her past relationship with McCoy, she has not confirmed whether their romance overlapped with his relationship with Elisse.
