Veteran TV host Willie Revillame has strongly denied the viral claim of a former production intern who alleged that staff were forbidden from looking at, approaching, or speaking to him while working on his show.
The controversy stemmed from an appearance on the Walang Edit Edit Podcast, where the former intern recalled being told: “Bawal mo siya tingnan… Huwag mo siyang lalapitan. Kapag magkakasalisi kayo, umiwas ka ng tingin talaga.” He also claimed that supervisors could get in trouble if the supposed rule was broken.

But during a recent episode of Wilyonaryo, Willie wasted no time shutting down the accusation.
“Marami nang lumalabas sa social media na paninira. Huwag po kayong maniniwala diyan na bawal raw akong tingnan,” Willie said, dismissing the allegation as baseless.
He stressed that he does not even know the former intern, saying, “Hindi nga kita kilala eh. Hindi namin kilala ‘yan.”
Willie also clarified that there were no interns crossing paths with him backstage, especially during his time at GMA Network, because his dressing room was located in a secluded area.
The veteran host grew visibly frustrated over the issue, accusing the former intern of using his name for clout.
“Siraulo ‘tong batang ‘to. Gusto mong sumikat eh. Pati ako gagamitin n’yo? Paano mo masasabing bawal akong tingnan?” he said.
Willie insisted that his on-set personality has always been lighthearted and approachable. “Lahat nga ng makikita ko, niloloko ko, binibiro ko,” he added.
As rumors continue to circulate ahead of the return of Wowowin, Willie believes the controversy is part of an effort to tarnish his image.
“Babalik na lang ang Wowowin, sisiraan n’yo pa ako,” he said.
The host also challenged the former intern to face him personally and explain the alleged incident, ending his statement with a firm denial: “Hindi ko gagawin ‘yan, tsaka hindi totoo ‘yan. Matakot ka sa Diyos.”
