Ashtine Olviga is a rising Filipino actress, singer and model currently signed with Viva Artists Agency. Her talent and hard work have not gone unnoticed as she gained recognition after earning a nomination in JuanCast’s StarCast feature for Women’s Month under the “Screen-Stealing” category, eventually taking home the win. This reflects her undeniable screen presence and the strong connection she has built with her audience.

But Ashtine’s journey did not start in front of the camera. It began under the spotlight of the music industry. A true example of the “idol-to-actor” pipeline, she started her career in 2016 and debuted in the girl group UGG (U Go Girls) in 2017. She later became a standout member of P-pop Generation Team A where she honed her stage presence and vocal skills. Her time with LITZ from 2021 to 2022 further cemented her identity as a P-pop artist.

As her music career grew so did opportunities in acting. While she had minor roles in films like Miss Granny in 2018, 2025 marked her big turning point. Taking on the lead role of Jay-jay in the Viva One series “Ang Mutya ng Section E,” Ashtine quickly captured the hearts of Gen Z and millennial audiences and earned the nickname “Nation’s Mutya.”

Her chemistry with co-star Andres Muhlach sparked a massive following and turned the series into a streaming hit. The role marked her transition from a niche pop performer to a mainstream leading lady and proved she can deliver both comedic timing and light romantic moments with ease.

After the successful run of Season 1, fans are now eagerly waiting for “Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2,” which promises to resolve the Jay-Dres love story after all the emotional tension and unanswered moments from the first season.

As of April 2026, Ashtine is clearly in her moment. She is headlining a unique Viva One original project titled ASHTINE, a four part drama anthology that showcases her range across different genres. The lineup includes the body swap comedy “Who’s the Boss,” the musical romance “My Melody” with Rob Deniel, the thriller “Balik Eskwela” with Sara Joe and Marco Gumabao and the heavy drama “Bahay-bahayan” alongside veteran actress Claudine Barretto.

Ashtine Olviga’s journey shows a clear direction. She is an artist who refuses to be boxed in. Whether she is hitting high notes or delivering emotional scenes she continues to prove she is one of the most exciting actresses to watch right now— a true screen stealer.
