“Hangganan” singer Jenzen Guino revealed his musical influences and dream OPM artist collaborations in an exclusive interview with The Philippine STAR.
Jenzen said that John Roa, TJ Monterde and “King of RnB” Jay R are his musical influences.
“Isa sila sa mga kasama sa playlist ko,” Jenzen said.
When asked about the artists he wants to collaborate with, Jenzen was quick to say that he looks forward to working with Zack Tabudlo and John Roa.
“Kuya Roa, baka naman! Gawa tayo song! Isa rin si Zack Tabudlo,” he added.
In the same interview, Jenzen looked back on his humble beginnings, from covering songs on YouTube to releasing his own original music.
“My first-ever song na parang nag-viral talaga, ‘yung song na ‘Hangganan.’ ‘Yun din kasi ‘yung first-ever na single na nasulat ko. Year 2020. 2018 nag-post ako unang-una sa YouTube ng mga covers ko. Doon talaga ako nag-start bago mag-level up to original songs. Vlogger na singer,” he shared.
Jenzen recently released his new song, “Sanderiana.” He first performed it live at Cozy Cove in Baguio City on March 13, 2026.
