NewJeans’ Haerin and Hyein return to ADOR

-

Haerin and Hyein of the girl group NewJeans will continue their activities under the management label ADOR.

On November 12, ADOR released a statement saying that the two members decided to respect the court’s ruling upholding their exclusive contracts after careful discussions with their families.

“NewJeans’ members Haerin and Hyein have expressed their intent to continue their activities with ADOR,” read the label’s statement as translated to English by South Korean media outlet Soompi.

The agency went on to assure fans that it will fully support the continuation of their entertainment activities and asked the public to refrain from speculation.

“ADOR will do our utmost so that Haerin and Hyein can continue their entertainment activities smoothly,” they added.

The update follows a series of legal disputes between ADOR and NewJeans, who had declared their intent to leave the company last year over unresolved issues.

Despite forming a new group, NJZ, and pursuing independent activities, the Seoul Central District Court ruled on October 30 that the members’ contracts with ADOR remain valid.
